EU Cohesion Policy 2014-2020
Cohesion policy is the EU’s main investment policy contributing towards regional development across the member states. More than one third of the EU’s budget is devoted to cohesion policy which aims to support job creation, economic growth and sustainable development. This section looks at how the EU cohesion policy is designed at EU level and how it informed the new European Structural and Investment Funds 2014-2020 Programme.
