European Funding Survey of the Voluntary Sector in the West of England

The West of England Civil Society Partnership is inviting views on the European Structural and Investment Fund (ESIF) Growth Programme.

The application call for the first tranche of a £5.8m West of England employment programme will be made in June 2015. Funded by the European Social Fund and the BIG Lottery (BLF), the purpose of the 'Removing Barriers to Employment' programme is to work with those who are furthest from employment and/or face multiple barriers to entering the workplace.

To inform this process the West of England Civil Society Partnership (WoECSP) is carrying out a survey of current provision, existing barriers and apparent gaps in service as well as identifying European funding experience. Quartet Community Foundation has been commissioned to carry out this survey on behalf of the WoECS  Partnership.

The results will be used to shape the voluntary sector funding proposal/s as well as being fed back to the BLF and Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) through whom the funding will be channelled.

Deadline for comments is 17 April 2015
