Big Lottery’s European Social Fund Programme – Round Two Now Open

Community projects across England supporting people into work, training and education

More than 60 projects in 18 Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) areas are now open for application, worth more than £132.6 million investment.

The projects are designed to tackle poverty and promote social inclusion, especially helping the most disadvantaged to overcome a huge range of challenges in their lives and in their communities.

They include:

  • providing help for those with multiple and complex needs,
  • improving employability for the most disadvantaged and
  • improving their financial literacy.

Any organisation is eligible to apply, however most of the projects will be better suited to partnership working.

If you are interested in applying, there is support available to potential applicants and grant holders to understand, plan for and deliver the additional requirements that come with managing European funding. For further information about this support visit www.bboesfsupport.com.

Deadline for applications is 30 November 2015.

See the funding opportunities on the Big Lottery’s website.

Note that a small number of additional funding opportunities will be available in early 2016.
