European Social Fund community grants - North West

European Social Fund (ESF) Community Grants are small grants of up to £13,500 to fund organisations in the North West who are running community projects that enable people to take that step further towards employment.

There are no match funding requirements.

Round 6 of the Workers' Educational Association ESF Community Grants is now open.

The grants can support a wide range of activities including:

  • Initial help with basic skills

  • Taster work experience, including voluntary work

  • Training, advice and counselling

  • Job search assistance

  • Confidence building and personal development

  • Support to individuals to overcome barriers to learning or employment
