Big Lottery Fund EU development fund for charities in England
Big Lottery Fund has made a total of £630,000 available for one lead voluntary organisation per Local Enterprise Partnership area to raise awareness and provide support to the voluntary sector on how to access the new European Social Fund from 2015 onward.
The lead organisation will work with local voluntary and community organisations and social enterprises that promote social inclusion and tackle poverty who may be eligible to access the European Social Fund.
They will act as a main point of contact for queries from the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector and bring together key local VCSE contacts to discuss the local priorities as set out in the LEP ESIF strategies.
This funding is only available in the 36 LEP areas that have already opted in to the Big Lottery Fund offer of matching their EU funds. See the list of the 36 LEP areas here.
