Hertfordshire LEP & BIG event on EU Funding for Voluntary Sector
from 09:30 am to 12:30 pm
Herts has been allocated around £30 million from the European Social Fund (2014-2020), 20% of this will be spent on ‘social inclusion’ type projects.
The social inclusion funding of around £6 million will be matched 50/50 from BIG Lottery Fund resources, doubling the pot the £12 million for project activity in the county.
The BIG Lottery Fund, separately, has awarded £20,000 of Programme Development Funding to Hertfordshire to:
• raise awareness of the ESF 2014-2020 programme
• establish a point of contact for queries
• work with the local VCSE sector to discuss local need and how best to tackle local priorities
You are invited to this event to get an overview of ESF funding in Hertfordshire, to hear more about the support available to VCSE applicants and to gain an understanding of how the bidding process will work from early 2015.
The event is free to attend but booking is necessary to ensure a place as space is limited.
Please send your name, organisation and e-mail address to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
In view of the anticipated demand, only one delegate per organisation will be accepted and places allocated on a first come first served basis.
