Big Lottery / ESF South London Roadshow - the opportunities for the VCS
from 09:30 am to 01:00 pm
The event aims to:
- Inform organisations about ESF and the Lottery programme e.g. role of the LEP and its priorities, role of opt-in organisations, target client groups, terms of grants, activities, geography.
- Highlight potential opportunities for VCSE delivery, the requirement and opportunity to develop sub-regional partnerships/consortia.
- Discuss risks and requirements particularly for smaller organisations. Highlight issues of due diligence and financial requirements for ESF, monitoring, claims, cashflow, partnership readiness, evidencing outcomes.
- Let organisations know how they can stay informed about what is happening and where to find out more.
This is a joint event between SLCVSP (South London CVS Partnership) and LVSC (London Voluntary Service Council). LVSC has been awarded Programme Development Funding by the Big Lottery Fund to ensure there is widespread awareness amongst VCSE organisations of the forthcoming Big Lottery ESF programme, to publicise opportunities for the sector to access funding under the programme and to develop productive and sustainable relationships between organisations that will lead to high quality applications and services. As part of this programme LVSC, together with SLCVSP, would like to invite VCSE organisations in South London to their upcoming roadshow.
CVA Resource Centre is easy to access. The nearest railway and tram stop is West Croydon which is a 3-minute walk. East Croydon station is a 15-minute walk.
